I Need

Beth is currently in a bad mood.  I blame the weather and the antics of her ridiculous brother.

There's only a few things that could help get me through this.

I need:

A big hug
A nap
Couzin' Lovin'
Stan
and most importantly...a stiff drink

Wedding

Wedding's in Fort Recovery, Ohio aren't you're typical wedding.  They're much more informal and it's almost customary for the guests to receive Koozie's for their alcoholic beverage.  Most of the guests were schloshed, including the bride and groom.  Over 700 people were invited to the reception and about 100 of them were children.  Stan's family is fricken huge.  The wedding party had about 60 people in it alone.  It was pretty ridiculous.  I had a good time, though.  Kelsey and Scott were there and when Stan left me to bug his cousins, I talked with them.  It was actually a really fun weekend.

Goal Oriented

After meeting with my journalism advisor, I have set a new goal for myself.  For my first internship, I'm going to write for Playboy Magazine.  Watch out, suckas.  No one's stopping me.

Despite the fact that today is in fact Easter Sunday, Bed, Bath, & Beyond in Rookwood was still open and we were suprisingly busier than I anticipated.  Work was also hard as fuck.  The inconsistent flow of shoppers made work go by slowly, but the constant hauling became over barring.  I had to lift a ridiculous amount of comforters, pillows, and fiber beds up and down a 12 foot tall ladder all afternoon.  They were heavy and gross.  I don't get paid enough for all of the manual labor I have to do.  Not to mention, I finally fell off my ladder today.  I anticipated this for quite sometime, but today it finally happened.  I wasn't injurred luckily and I only fell no more than 6 feet, but it was still scary.  Somehow, I managed to land on my feet.  I'm more cat like than I thought.  Now, I'm just chilling.

I had the entire apartment to myself this weekend and it was glorious.  I decided to indulge myself.  I deserve it.  So, I made 2 1/2 quarts of my favorite soup: Mazta Ball.  It cures the blues and does the body good.  I have a lot of reading to do tonight, and I'm not gonna lie...I probably won't do all of it.  Oh well.  Well, I should at least start some of it.

Ugh

By the end of this month, it's guaranteed that I will have at least two jobs, but the possibility of having three is also out there.  It makes logical sense for a 20 year old female college student with 19 credit hours under her belt to undergo one back breaking job at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and two others taking photographs.  I can't quit BBBY, I need the solid yet increasing hours.  I also need the other two photog jobs for the experience.  If everything works out, I could work for one of the top wedding photographers in the Tri-State area.  This guys's reputation is amazing.  Just to work under him whether it be filing or even his professional ball washer, is to walk among the greatest.  The other photography job is with the News Record.  I need the experience badly to help compete for internships in the upcoming two years.  I also can't drop any of my classes.  I need all of them.  Not to mention, I'm still in band.  Fuck.  Who needs a social life anyways?
